My name is Jonah Sellers. I am a Senior at Auburn University pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Management and Sports Journalism. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. One of my favorite things to do is travel and exist in places outside of my comfort zone. My easy go-to locations are National and State Parks. I love going and existing in different areas, taking in and observing different cultures and lifestyles anywhere I go. I have always loved media and art in its different forms, using creativity to try and turn some pencil markings on a page into an image, or use a camera to capture a moment. I also grew up playing sports, all sports, as a way to fuel the desire for competition. That is why when I discovered War Eagle Productions in 2021, I knew that I had to try and work there to combine my love for sports with my love for creating art.
I work at War Eagle Productions(WEP) as a camera operator for Auburn sports and events. I have been working with WEP for over four years and am thankful for the opportunities that have been provided to me to learn and grow in this profession. I also work with multiple different production companies as a camera-for-hire, working sporting events as well as formal events outside of Auburn.
I recently got into using an old polaroid camera to capture the moments in life. Using it has made me more intentional with my shot selection. Here are a few of my favorites:
